BILAL KOLA was born and lived until the age of 18 in a communist regime internment camp near Lushnje. After the advent of the democratic system, he relocated to Tirana, where he currently resides. During the 1990s, he completed his high school education (which had been denied to him during the communist regime as a form of punishment for his background) and pursued Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Law, respectively at South Bank University and London Metropolitan University in London. Among his other academic qualifications, he also completed his PhD in Strategic Leadership at International University Montgomery, USA (Vienna Campus, Austria).
Throughout his approximately 25-year career, he has worked for significant institutions and corporations both in Albania and abroad. He has also lectured at various universities in Albania and abroad. Additionally, he has defended and represented the interests of the former political prisoners’ community.
